Information we collect

Account and relationship information. When you create an account, request a server quote, contact sales, or sign up for support, we collect details such as your name, business email, company, phone number, and the information you provide about your project or workload.

Usage information. When you use our services, we collect operational data about how compute and storage resources are consumed, such as the volume of compute and storage used, jobs and kernels executed, user counts, performance metrics, and third party licenses consumed. We use this to operate, bill, support, and improve the services.

Customer content. Depending on the service, you may upload data and files into the environment so we can run your workloads. We treat this content as yours. We process it only to provide the service and do not access it except as needed to operate the platform, provide support, or comply with law.

Website data. Like most websites, we collect standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, and we use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working and to understand how it is used.

Information from third parties. We may receive information about you from third parties, such as analytics and advertising providers, fraud prevention services, vendors that support our business, and publicly available sources. If you interact with us on social media, we may also receive the information you choose to share there.

Cookies and tracking technologies

We and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies on our website to keep it working, remember your preferences, understand how the site is used, and support our marketing. Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser.

We use a few categories of cookies. Essential cookies keep the site working and let you access secure areas, and they cannot be turned off. Analytics cookies, including Google Analytics, help us count visits and traffic sources so we can measure and improve the site. Personalization cookies remember your choices so we can tailor your experience. Marketing cookies may be set by our advertising partners to show you relevant ads on other sites.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, which let you refuse some or all cookies or warn you before one is set. If you disable cookies, you can still use the site, though some features may not work as well. Where required, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies, and you can change your choices at any time using the cookie preferences link on our site.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to deliver and manage the services, to provision and operate infrastructure, to bill for usage, to respond to support requests, and to address technical and security issues. We also use it to improve our products, to personalize your experience, and to send you service notices and, where you have agreed, marketing about our products and services.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it with service providers who help us run our business, such as data center partners, payment processors, and support and analytics vendors. These providers are bound by contract to protect the information and to use it only for the purposes we specify. We may also disclose information where required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of Arc Compute, our customers, and the public.

If we receive a subpoena, court order, warrant, or similar legal demand for customer content, we will try to redirect the request to you and, where we are permitted to do so, notify you before responding.

Security

We maintain administrative, physical, and technical safeguards designed to protect the data we hold. If we become aware of a breach affecting your data, we will notify you promptly and work to limit and remedy its effects.

Third-party sites

Our website may link to sites and services we do not own or control. This policy does not cover how those third parties handle your information, and we are not responsible for their practices. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any site you visit before sharing information with it.

Data retention

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it to provide the services and to meet our legal, accounting, and reporting obligations. You can retrieve or delete your customer content before your agreement ends. After an agreement ends, we delete or return your content within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it to comply with applicable law.

International data transfers

We operate across multiple regions, and your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including where you choose a data center location or where we provide support. When we transfer personal information internationally, we put appropriate safeguards in place as required by applicable law, including for customers in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to request its deletion, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to object to certain processing. You can also withdraw consent to marketing at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us. To exercise any of these rights, email us at sales@arccompute.io and we will respond as required by law.
